New in Zurich -- Hello all

I am actually French but my wife is American and we just moved to Zurich. Therefore at home you would hear an interesting mix of English, French and occasionally German when I practice the little German I have learnt in the last three weeks with our daughter... With her 6 months of life she must be getting a strange view of the world. Like it must have been just after the Babel tower!

So now you have an idea of the family structure. And what about our trajectory that brought us to Zurich three weeks ago ?
Before that we were 3 years in Lausanne and even before that in the USA for 4 years.
I am an engineer and will start work here in a week, in the meantime I struggle with finding an appartment (any tips anyone?), finding daycare for our daughter (preferrably in French or English), learning German, and trying to meet people (so far very unproductive).

We are actually looking forward living in Zurich it seems like a beautiful lively city and I am sure once I am done fighting with the adminstration it will be quite enjoyable.

So here is my introduction,
Julien
