Hello everyone,
I am moving to Basel with my wife, she is Base Stadt local, and was raelly just on the look out for good places to meet other English speaking people. I have been tipped that the rufgby club ia obvious and from past experience the Irish pub, can't remember name, is always busy.

I am 28, currently a private banking adviser and will be in CH for the long term,

This site seems perfect for intros and so thought I would just put this on and see what happens.

The forum has been a great spot for me to find some important things about Swiss life that even my (Basel native) husband didn't know, hopefully it proves useful to ya'll as well.

If you are interested in mixing it up with some other English-speaking folks who have made Basel our homes, check out the Events section of the forum... there are a few "always" events (Curry Night, a book club, a running club, a photography club, and a few others) and some other activities that folks are getting into more recently.
