New Graduate Student attending ETH Zuerich

Hi Everyone!! I am new to the forum, I just joined today. I moved to Switzerland in Sept 2006 and I just recently moved to Schlieren with my husband and dog.

I am from the US, around the Miami Beach, FL area and decided to move to Switzerland to attend graduate school here at the ETH. I am studying the MTEC (Management, Technology and Economics) Masters degree with a Specialization in Computer Science.

I am a Software Engineer with many years of experience as well as a certified Hypnotist and professional Middle Eastern Dancer.

I am also a Pagan and a High Priestess and I am looking for other like minded Pagans in Switzerland. Since this seems to be a very Christian country.

Re: New Graduate Student attending ETH Zuerich

My husband and I are Americans living in Winterthur. He teaches business management at the University of St. Gallen and I am an artist.
I hope you are enjoying living here in Switzerland. We love it!
I am curious about about a couple of things. My son and daughter in law are thinking about moving to Zurich so that she can attend graduate school at the University of Zurich (Environmental Sciences) in the fall of 2008. They will have a new baby who is due in March. They also have two cats and a dog.
Is your husband working also? Was he tagged onto your B permit or does he have one of his own?
How difficult was it to bring your dog and what process did you have to go through?
Thanks for any info.
B Rose
