Moving to Locarno

Hi all,

I am an Indian citizen living in U.S. for last 5 years. I am moving to Locarno in few days and just wanted to say hello! Its a great forum!!

Welcome, the town is really pretty and so are its surroundings. As for the Film Festival (early August), well, look forward to it if you enjoy less glitzy type films.
Watch out for Ticino events, as spring approaches, we'll try and get going as a real bunch of EFs!

Hi PMV and welcome to the forum. I don't doubt that many EFers envye you for living in Locarno - you'll soon see why. E.g. winter will almost be over as you arrive, in early February already, they are going to sell garden plants.

Thanks. I lived in Iowa, U.S. where temperatures went up to -25 C even in late Febraury. So, I am looking forward to mild winters and great summers in Locarno and may be meet some EFrs from Locarno.
