| | Calling all Aussies, where are we all??
Hello
I have posted on here a few times but haven't introduced myself yet. My name is Melissa and my Husband and I and our 2.5 year old Son are moving to Morges in July.
I am from Brisbane but have been living in London for 4 years.
There seems to be lots of Aussies on here, where are we all from and where are you living in Switzerland?

Originally from Melbourne, now working in Switzerland but living just across the border in France. Moved here with my husband for his job, and started working myself six months later...
I'll stick to my hometown, although I lived in Adelaide for three years and enjoyed it, for me there is still no place like home
Welcome to the forum!

Sydneysider! (Northern Beaches.) Lived in a few other cities around the world, too, but Sydney will always be home for me. I don't suppose anyone needs me to post photos to explain why?
Lucy, I can't quite work out where the photos of Adelaide end and Glen Innes begins ... | This user would like to thank for this useful post: | |

From Perth, and I can tell you the things I miss the most from the west coast are the sunshine and the beaches, I just cant seem to get into the skiing thing brrrrrr... At present I am in Ammerswil, a small village famous for its 16th century laundry and the birthplace of the mother of the man who started Migro (if you dont know what it is, you soon will). Enjoy your stay.... |

Kinda like the Cote d'Azur with 90% of the population removed |

I actally googled that photo but it looks to me to be a view of yals on the walk to rabbit hill. If you look up the coast to the point those two tiny blobs are sugarloaf rock.. ahh so many memories, I spent a good few years cruising up and down that coast looking for waves

I guess I like my towns quiet and with tumbleweeds
Sydney is pretty great too though. I always loved visiting and had such a good time.

The one of the rainforest looks like the forest 15 minutes east of Seattle. I didn't picture rainforest in Australia.
moops - I'm not an Aussie, and am not yet in CH, but welcome to EF.

Were you expecting more of this? (me at my prime of (bright red) fashion sense)
Also I skipped the question about where we are in Switzerland!
I live in Lengnau near Biel/Bienne
Although kind of hoping I will be back home in my beloved Adelaide by the time you make it here moops
I hope you love it though |

Moops, welcome to sunny switzerland (well it will be in July). Im from the east coast: cairns, brisbane, sydney and desparately missing the best city beaches in the world (havent been to perth so cant comment).
Morges is a nice place, you will like it. Very different to ole london town which I find a very aggressive city, everyone trying to get ahead/pull a swifty scam etc.

On the bright side there was (about 20 years ago at least) a nice strawberry farm that did an excellent milkshake.
