A big hello to all of you, especially if you're near Basel

but not if you're a Tottenham fan ().

Have just moved permanently here following a period of back and forth travelling. Lorryload of stuff arrives at our apartment tomorrow!

Will basically want to see what's going on in and around Basel - though very early on discovered Mr Pickwicks for the sport.

Once my knee has recovered I shall be cycling the hell out of Switzerland during the summer.

Hope you can help any of my techie questions (see TV/Internet section)

shame about your allegence - but welcome.

I bet you're after Sky but for Premiership 2008/9, look at www.teleclub.ch which will show the games Premiere are carrying (380 games or so, I believe).

Sky+ box coming over with me

Looking at going to Media Markt by Basel SBB to sort out the bits..

Seems easy enough to align from the balcony - can't drill anythin so will either need to floor mount or to balcony railings.

Still got my ST so going back for around 10 games a year - though booking easyjet flights with Sky's wonderful need to change timings will be a pain.

Hi,

Welcome to Basel!!!

We use a garden umbrella stand which we got from OBI ( Mpark) and it does the job very well.
