Football fanatic new to Geneva.

Hello All,

My wife and i have just arrived in Geneva from the UK and are living in Chambesy. Very keen to find a venue to watch the forthcoming FA Cup/Champions League/World Cup Finals, and maybe meet some other football fans.

Have found the Lady Godiva on the web:

http://www.ladyg.ch/index.html

Is this the best venue to watch English/European/World Cup football or does anyone have any other suggestions?

Cheers
Tim (and Chloe)

Cheers Bertrand. Our move has indeed been a long time coming but we are here now! Sorry i wont see you for the football but understand its not everyones cup of tea.

Have been told about Pickwick's (http://www.mrpickwick.ch) , or to the clubhouse (http://www.theclubhouse.ch) as well..

Thanks
Tim

I rarely get over "that" side of town ( lady godiva ) so can't comment on it but Pickwick is good... good footie crowd and large screen TV downstairs.

also Charlie ONeils but a much smaller venue.

Hi,

we were in the Clubhouse on Saturday to watch the Scottish cup final. They also had the English cup final on.

I thought it was a pretty good venue for watching the games with one big screen and several others dotted about.

Cheers

Sean

Re: Football fanatic new to Geneva.

Any ideas where to watch the Man U v Man City game next month in Geneva? It is a boys birthday approx. 14 and his mates and the adults. It would be good to reserve a table and get a good place, probably child friendly ... so not sure if Pickwicks would work or do you have any ideas?
Thanks

Oopps meant to say he is approx. 14 years old so was thinking of something else rather than the pub scene. I told my friend to put sky on at her house and order them pizzas in as they wont notice after the game starts.
