Art scene Zurich?

Hello fellow English Forum members. Is there an active art scene in Zurich?

Back in US there was a regular 3rd Thursday night art scene in my area where many galleries where set up in clusters and all held their opennings at the same time. Crowds would come to walk through the many galleries, eat, drink and socialize.

I miss that a lot and was wondering if there anything similar here? I know about the museum night in Zurich but that is only once per year. I'm hoping to find something that is more frequent like every month where people get together, openings, emerging artists, gallery community, etc.

Thank you

Re: Art scene Zurich?

Dear Artcarolann, I wonder if you got any answers to this question? I am based near Baden, but worked in the UK in the Arts for nearly 10 years. I am hoping to get into the art scene here, and would welcome any information you may have gathered?
Best wishes
