and just now found this forum???
My Danish husband (Thomas) and I (Jennifer) have been living in Wetzikon outside of Zurich for 7 years. I am from Houston, Texas. We have 2 kids: Emma, 8 and Jacob, 6.
I recently had another of my semi-annual fits of homesickness, and after a couple of months of kicking and screaming, decided to embrace my integration into Swiss society with new passion! So I am rededicated to learning German, speaking to the neighbors, and shopping local!
I joined the forum about an hour ago, and have already found a ton of great information.

Thanks | | | | | Learning the language is really a big step. I'm not bragging but I started school as soon as I got here two and a half years ago and its definitely paid for itself. I'm in Zurich too and know only too well how it is here...
If ya need some pointers how to get started let me know I could run off some copies for you...
