If you don't get a lot of reaction to your wish to meet up with others, check through the social events and see if other Mums are enjoying their coffee together on a regular bases somewhere in Zürich.

There's a great yahoo group called expat moms in Switzerland and another called expat Moms in Zurich. Google it to find the exact link. You then register and in a few days you'll start receiving mails about events, lots of things for sale, kid/baby friendly places etc. It has been very helpful and have bought loads of stuff for my 2 year old and soon to be born, babe #2.
