When were the tyres manufactured? there will be a date 45/14 which would be week 45 of 2014. Winter tyres have a useful file of 5 years from manufacture.

If they are OEM for Disco 3 they will not fit the Disco 4. If they are aftermarket for D3 most likely they don't fit the D4. D4 have bigger rotors so wheels are different

Only in the sense that they need to be the 19 or 20 inch rims, not smaller, but those sizes also suitable for the D3.

But why, after so many threads selling tyres here, one would place an ad without specifying the wheel size, I don't know. Kinda important, even if you know what vehicle they came from.

Amusingly they were reduced to 500 last year but have gone back to the original price when they did not sell

Re: Pirelli Scorpion Winter Tyres Ice and Snow

They were bought for last winter, but sadly the fuel pump gave up shortly after purchase and it was too expensive to repair- so replaced car. They don't fit the Subaru Forester, sadly.

FMF - thanks for your great support here. Lovely and kind

Ace, thanks- now out for the day, but will post size asap. A friend was interested for his TD5, but unfortunately they were not the right size. Winter is upon us- so a good time to put them on offer again. A great deal, for sure.

Put them on Tutti or Ricardo. The is quite a specialized ad and there are probably not too many Disco 3/4 drivers here that need new alloys.

Yes, will do. Just thought I'd put them here first, just in case they can be useful for a member, as winter is approaching, and re new Laws coming in for French mountains/alps.

FYI the "new law" was apparently a myth, or an exaggeration at best, as explained here.

I sold my old alloys on Tutti and got 160 Sfr for em. Figured about half the cost of new ones was decent for em. Managed to keep and fit the tires on new ones that I got at about 80 Sfr a wheel. And managed to go another 2 to 3 winters before having to order new rubber.
