FS: Plane (ZH)

Do you want to piss off your wife and always wanted to get her back for getting (insert useless shit she bought)? Well, this is your chance. LiB International Airways has to reduce its fleet and thus needing to rid the workhorse.

Description:
Material: Wood
Engine: gasoline
Remote Control: n/a
Dimensions: taken apart, it can be stored in the trunk (I'd assume 1m in length and roughly 1m wingspan)
Price: 50 Chf

Take this chance to become a plane owner or increase your fleet. Be the envy of the entire neighborhood or impress your favorite son by gifting him the joy of aviation.

Testimonies:
"Sweet ride dude"
Capt. Castro

"That thing is huge"
Female neighbor renting the parking space hangar next door

"Why is there a plane in your trunk?"
Bike courier waiting at traffic light

Re: FS: Plane (ZH)

My hangar is overflowing (6 planes) otherwise I would take it of ya. Its a proper old school balsa wood and film plane, none of that foam rubbish.

Sorry very dumb question. I think this might be fun with my son but how do you control it? Do I need to buy a controller?

It's actually not a dumb question at all. Most people who own RC planes have their one remote control which they connect to the plane they're actually flying. There are many userfriendier options to start out with RC planes , as you're able to purchase entire plastic kits where everything is included. My setting is a bit dated (wooden airframe instead of plastic/ gas engine instead of electric motor) but it has all its wiring and flight controls in place. It's also nice looking, if you decide to simply display it on the ceiling. If you're somewhat technically inclined, you could even make a cool looking cooling fan out of it.

No, but they're not hard to make. half a pool noodle should do, but don't quote me, I'm no McGyver.

I believe in your particular case, I would take baby steps and try to get into the sea level club before heading into the friendly skies. This being said, anything can help.

Re: FS: Plane (ZH)

A distant friend of mine named William once said "Parting is such sweet sorrow that I say goodnight 'til it be morrow."
I can announce the departure of Spruce Goose to greener pasture. Spruce will leave LiB Int. Aiways' hangars for good. So long unfeathered and majestic bird, may you rise again in the hands of someone who knows what the **** they're doing.

(Note to buyer: The wings ain't broken, just added the song for dramatics )

Re: FS: Plane (ZH)

Takes up quite a bit of space sadly

My Pirate is a keen RC model ship builder (of many varieties) and as well as 'working' on other RC toys, such as Crawlers and hang gliders..I don't think' we've the space for such a big plane as well but you just gave me an idea to look into smaller RC controlled airplanes..... as an idea for Christmas!
