| | Anybody selling an iPad?
Looking for an iPad.. It will be be used pretty much as a recipe book in the kitchen with some occasional spotify, maybe a little youtube and a tiny bit of browsing.
Hence I don't really want to buy a new one.. Prefer iPad 4 or iPad air. not mini and prefer not one of the six year old models. Wi-Fi only is fine, 16gb is fine.
Maybe around 200-300 chf depending on model.
Before I go trawl ricardo..

The new model just announced is only 350 (roughly - i forgot exactly).. Available to order tomorrow..
Would probably make better sense to just buy that i thinks.

I know you say your budget limit is 200-300, but Apple revamped some of their iPads this week and you can pick up a brand new "iPad" 32Gb for 389 chufs.
It might be worth it for the guarantee and the ongoing iOS support, which you won't necessarily get if you buy an older second hand one from here.
Edit - LOL - note to self - read threads completely before replying

Before I go trawl ricardo.. | | | | | You just reminded me, I have an iPad 2 or 3, the one with "retina" screen, nobody used in a long while. Works perfectly fine and fast for what you'll need it, as I didn't update it, I think ever. (Updates bring fancy new things but also come with a price of slowly outdating your device.)
I think it's a 2013 or 2014 device.
If it's not old for you, I don't know, 150-200, depending on which model it is seems fair (I'll take a look when I'm home). Seems to be that price on ricardo.
Actually, I'll put it there tonight if you don't want it |

I just won an ipad air 2 from a migros/kellogs contest. New in box, 32gb, 2yr. guar. from melectronics, spacegray.
The guarantee says it's worth 449 but I am open to a lower offer. I have 4 kids and don't see the point in handing them an ipad to break as soon as it's out of the box!

You're trying to sell a model that since a few days is both lower-specced and more expensive than what you get direct from apple..

Let them sell their brand new, boxed iPad Air. They've not mentioned a selling price, and presumably would happily accept a figure below the cost of the new iPad.
As it happens, the new iPad is not highly specced. Still good value IMO, but it falls some way short of older models -- presumably why it's cheaper.

The only difference seems to be a slightly more powerful processor, slightly bigger battery to power it but the same life, and therefore slightly thicker and heavier but nothing much.
All the other specs are the same.

I'm leaning towards just buying a new one at the moment for 389.. Mainly because I work fairly near the apple store and could just walk in and get it.. (depending on availibility). I like easy over price!
I'd take this ipad air right enough if the logistics would work and the price was right.. I find it hard to sensibly price though, i want it cheap but without being insulting
Ricardo has them (with no bids) from 290 going up to over 400 (no bids).. And apple no longer list them.
--- llrswsw -- Have a look on Ricardo etc.. Drop me a mesg, if we can work out price and logistics I'll take it.

I've got a Ipad 2 handed down to me by my teenage daughter. Feels like a museum exhibit.
My wife has an Ipad 4, my youngest has an Ipad Air. Our oldest got herself an Ipad Air 2 and the difference between the Air 2 and previous versions feels really noticeable. It's lighter, better camera and faster for everything she uses it for. It's great for watching Netflix.
With a good cover and a bit of care, there's no reason for it to be dropped or broken. Keep it for yourself and enjoy!
