Looking to borrow steam cleaner in Bern

Hi all,

I've been cleaning the apartment and it's time to get all the gunk out of the grout in the bathroom. Doing so properly requires a steam cleaner, which I don't have.

Rather than spend the money on a new one which we'll only use a few times, does anyone have one I might borrow, for a day or two in exchange for a beer or a few francs?

Cheers!
-Pete

Have one, but we are too far away.
But try elbow grease mixed with white vinegar which is what we do

Rent one? Google returns quite a few results that look useful, including specialised providers and Hornbach.

Good ideas!

Hornbach's a bit far away (in Biel), but there's a Bauhaus nearby. Still, they want 25 francs for 24 hours (or 38 for the weekend) plus a 50 franc deposit. Shorter-term rentals (2-4 hours) are possible, but a bit of a hassle considering I'd need to take the train and walk since I don't have a car. This is for a "Dampfreiniger" with no additional details as to which model or functionality it has.

I'd rather my money (and/or beer) go to a friendly person on the forum rather than to Bauhaus.
