Carlos, I'm down here in the Romande so, too far. Ask at hotels, man, they get their bottled water on pallets and they usually have bunches stacked down in the parking garage.

Re: pallet wanted - Basel area

Depending what you need it for, it might be better to get a new one (they do tend to travel far and low-class, so if you end up making a bed out of it you might have to visit the bed-bug-thread after ).

And as they really are cheap and at Migros = everywhere .....

and even cheaper here!! (Might want to call them first, "if it looks too good to be true ..... " it might be good

This looks indeed true, but note that it is a 1:16 size plastic toy

I thought it was weird but where did you find the 1:16 information?

Migros is still cheap though

Haha. That link is def toys. Want them to go under a water tank in garden, so hygiene not a major issue! I know you can buy them, but sometimes people have them left over, so thought I'd ask.

Basel has a harbour
Got to Birsfelden or contact them by internet and ask if they give you one for free.

PS, you can switch to English on that site.

Which type? There are throwawy or reusable ones. The sturdy ones are the reusables.

You can probably get a throwaway from most companies doing business with physical goods as it saves them the cost of disposing of what's waste to them.

The pallets have relatively weak planks so for your purpose a "Bahnschwelle" or two may be better suited. Available for instance from Hornbach for 14CHF each. If they will stay moist or wet you may consider "behandeln" (impregnate?) them, proofing their surface.
