(Still) looking for a bed

Dear all,
this week I'll rent a van and I'll be able to pick up a bed from anywhere in Zurich. I am still trying to avoid a new one, so again, if anyone of you has a single person bed, in a relatively good condition, and is ready to sell it for a fair price, I would appreciate it a lot.

Again, Zurich or very close to Zurich.

Re: (Still) looking for a bed

I have a pretty good king size bed. Its in good condition, although its been stored for a while. You can see from the below link the leg is a bit bent but it doesnt affect it at all and there is no squeaks or imbalance

If you're keen I could do it for 100 CHF

I dont know the exact measurements. I could confirm later. I believe its 160 cm X 200 cm mattress, so add a bit more on for the frame

Unfortunately, I really need max 1.1 m or so, I have already that sized bed and my room is just too small for this.

I'll check however with my roommate if this could fit but probably not.

This is kind of you but I think this is designed for children. I might be worried about an adult using this...

OP did you try anibis.ch and tutti.ch? There aren't that many but some are giving away their bed, or for a low price.

The length is 200cm so definitely not designed just for children.
You want it up to max 1.1m width, and this fits that dimension with its 90cm.
Might be a bit narrow, but enough for one person.
I would prefer to sleep in as wide as possible though, so better measure first what would fit.

I was thinking more about the weight tolerance.

Re: (Still) looking for a bed

The Ikea link says of the maximum load-bearning capacity:
Max Belastung 100 kg.
and
'max. Belastung' gibt das statische Gewicht an - also die Belastung, die das Bett aushält, wenn man darin liegt oder sitzt.
(The "max. Belasting" is the static weight, i.e. the load that the bed can take, when one is sitting or lying on it.)

I see, missed that part.

And p.s. Sorry for referring up there with "you", I missed the part where you were not the OP.
