Porsche 996 Carrera

Hi all,

I'm in the market looking for a 1998 to 2003 Porsche 996.
Mandatory Specs:
- Under 160k km
- Manual Gearbox

Color preferences:
- Silver > Grey > Blue > Black

Ideally a Carrera 2, but if in good spec, can also take a look at a Carrera 4.

Willing to pay up to 25k.

Let me know if you have one that you want to get rid of

Thank you.

Probably the best place to go in Switzerland for a vintage Porsche:

a good business is when both parties are happy with the deal. If there’s someone in this comunity that wants to sell what a I want to buy, is a win win.

I got a couple of PM with offers and some tips, and they are very valuable for someone that is not very knowledgeable of this market in Switzerland.

Don't have any yet.
It's a 2000 Carrera 2, manual gearbox, in beautiful Ocean Blue with 99.000kms. Interior is Metropolitan Blue (looks black).
Will require some love and care to bring back the paint and interiors to its best, but should be easily achievable.
Plan also to change the original 17" wheels with original 18" wheels for summer.

Posted picture looks like the one I bought, but is not mine.

Congrats on the new machine, you bought the right one (not the boring Carrera 4). Would you mind share how much did you pay? Also, does it have an upgraded IMS bearing? Cheers.

Hi,
I've paid CHF 20.000 for it.

It doesn't have an upgraded IMS and I'm in the process of finding where to do it. Let me know if you recommend a place to do a fresh service and replace IMS (maybe clutch since it needs to be open).
