Jobs Wanted - Read This Before Posting

Why Can't I Post a Thread?

In order to start a new thread in the Marketplace, you need to first meet the following criteria:
  • Have 10 posts or more (not including those in off-topic or Marketplace sections)
  • Been a member for 7 days or longer

If you have just made your 10 posts and find you can't post in the marketplace, log out of EF and then log back in again. Keep in mind that if you've just posted fluff content to make your 10 posts then those posts may be deleted and a temporary or permanent ban may be applied to your account.

See the announcement at the top of the Marketplace subforums;
Market Place posting eligibility rules

Dog Walking / Dog Sitting / Caring for Dogs

Dog care in Switzerland is not the 'casual work' that it is in other countries. In order to carry out any dog care in Switzerland, you must have successfully completed the required courses and be properly insured.

If you make a post requesting work caring for dogs, then always indicate that you hold the necessary qualifications and insurance. If it is unclear whether you fulfill the legal requirements then your post may be deleted.

See this comprehensive guide to the requirements for dog care providers in Switzerland;
Requirements For Dog Care Providers

If you are responding to an ad for a dog care provider then please be aware of the requirements. The dog owner is also responsible for ensuring that the required laws are complied with.

Often those most in need are those most vulnerable to the unscrupulous. If you are seeking a casual job then be aware that there are scams in Switzerland, just like any other country.

See below for a list of threads relating to known scams aimed at job seekers;

Nothing of value kept in this post overnight.
