Hi Everyone,

I will keep this short and sweet. Resume attached.

My name is Simon and I have a strong background in Client Services (Relationship management). I am looking for part time work (15 hours during studies and full-time hours during my holidays).

I am a very good English communicator and learning German. Currently living in Bern but willing to travel.

Open to any opportunity including outside my normal profession. Feel free to contact me.

Thank you for reading and enjoy your day

Really not a good idea to publish all your personal details like that on a public forum, so I've taken the liberty of removing your CV.

Also, as I understand it, you're not allowed to work at all if you're here on a student permit. I'm sure others who know more about this will be along shortly with more detail.

Most (at least some) student permits allow you to work 15 hours a week during term time and full time in the holidays. And seeing as the OP mentioned that I would guess he has a permit that does allow it.

When did you start your studies? Most non-EU nationals can't work for the first 6 months of their course so if you started in September it just won't be possible.

This from ETHZ, but I assume it's the same elsewhere.

"Gainful employment
Main content

During the semester, you may accept a paid part-time job of no more than 15 hours a week. Full-time employment is permitted during the regular semester vacations. However, in both cases your employer will have to apply for your work permit at the cantonal Office for Economy and Labour ("Amt für Wirtschaft und Arbeit" – AWA) if you come from a non-EU country. This is only possible once you have received your residence permit!

Important:
Bachelor students from non-EU countries must have lived in Switzerland for at least 6 months to obtain a work permit.

During their first 6 months in Switzerland, Master students from non-EU countries can only obtain a work permit for a job at their ETH department."

Thanks for the information, but I have done my research and I am allowed to work 15 hours a week and full-time during my holiday periods. I have been here longer than 6 months.

Also thanks for the removal of my CV I may just remove my address details ect and reattach. I have nothing to hide. Really appreciate your thoughtfulness though.

Yep, totally aware thanks.

I am also aware the employer needs to submit the form. I have received my residency.

Lastly I am also exempt from the employer having to offer to Swiss and EU people being a student. So in Summary if you know anyone that is hiring it would be most appreciated.

And that is how you prove you can handle client services. If I had a job opening, I would hire you.
