Romney or Obama: Let Me Help You Decide

This gives a pretty accurate depiction of what you will be voting for

LOL!!!

Man, I love The Onion.

I thought the Romney one was best, but I guess I'm a little biased.

Thanks for sharing.

Re: Romney or Obama: Let Me Help You Decide

LOL...yeah, it's pitiful this year. My sister asked me yesterday who I'm voting for this year and I asked if there was a box for 'none of the above'. She was thinking the same thing and she's, let's just say, a much more well-defined voter.

agree.... not much good in voting this year. I feel bad for the schmuck who gets in and has to cut spending and raise taxs.

Re: Romney or Obama: Let Me Help You Decide

I'm curious if the majority of people who vote for Romney will do it not so much because they actually like him, but simply because they just don't want Obama re-elected.

It's frightening...

I'm scared, Mommy.

Seeing Romney's latest gaff I'd be hoping that Americans would be saying "No way can we have this ignorant, uneducated, and plain dumb guy as our president" and vote for Obama just to keep him out.

Sadly, it's never seemed to stop them in the past

Re: Romney or Obama: Let Me Help You Decide

Where they supposed to be amusing, I guess not being American I missed plenty of references.

It would be interesting to see what percentage of EF'ers, if eligible, would vote for Romney/Obama. Would a (very) simple and ignorant generalisation be that those Americans that have travelled overseas be more willing to vote Democrat?

Re: Romney or Obama: Let Me Help You Decide

I think most sensible people would vote Obama.

Romney is all talk.

The debates have been so childish and pointless. I watched them back and thought do these people (American public) actually buy all this point scoring crap. Romeny is so sketchy on policy, I think Obama is a bit more genuine and realistic.

Romney is deluded or thinks the public are a lot more dense and gullible than they actually are.......i hope, though I do worry, well not really.

But in anycase, they are merely puppets, it doesnt matter who wins.

I'm not voting for Obama because he's completely ineffective...

I'm not saying I'm voting FOR Romney, either...

I might just sit this one out...

Nope. It's just that the Democrats abroad are the ones who bang on about it all the time, whereas Republicans living abroad tend not to make such a fuss.

Re: Romney or Obama: Let Me Help You Decide

One of the guys I know keeps going on about Gary Johnson... on one hand, I wish "mainstream media" would give more air time to those from other parties, on the other hand, since they don't, there is greater need for them to put themselves out there and you can see more "real" stuff from them on youtube and the like.

Re: Romney or Obama: Let Me Help You Decide

That's really crucial decision which will affect many sides of the world specially Mideast. Romney's strict opinion against Iran's nuclear program made me worry about the possibility of the WW-III in the near future.

I really hope the world be in peace and everybody lives together friendly.

Re: Romney or Obama: Let Me Help You Decide

It isnt normally the president who decides things like invading Iran. The Pentagon determines all foreign policy on behalf of the President. Since 1991 the Pentagon has had one main strategy to keep war outside of the Western Hemisphere, and that is to keep central Asia destabilized. If they were to "fix" Iran that would mean they would need to find another "enemy" to destabilize. So its more work than its worth. Political debates are all talk and no truth. Look at the massive lies the last 3 presidents have all told during their previous debates.

They have never come through on any campaign promises. Especially regarding foreign policy.

Re: Romney or Obama: Let Me Help You Decide

If Gary Johnson gets 5% of the popular vote we may just end this two party monopoly in which both sides are funded by the same interests. Sitting this one out means you will most likely end up sitting the next one out as well and so on and so fourth until people actually start voting for people who have not been hand picked by the powers that be. Is it really that hard to figure out how to not waste your vote? This election is wasted but your vote is not. Imagine having three people at the next presidential debates in 2016. Or maybe even four in 2020. But first people actually break this cycle of insanity and that means voting for someone other than a democrat or republican.
