Is she getting a bit behind with her work?

his thumbs are on the wrong side of the hands. Is that a cunning ploy to get us discussing the sculpture, or is this a fake?

Thumbs on the wrong side Sounds like it is your ploy.
They are the butts thumbs not someone else’s. It is anatomically correct.

Most people have movement in their wrists / shoulders / back so they can rotate their hands 360 degrees. The image is quite easy to copy

Re: Is she getting a bit behind with her work?

Do you remember in 1976 an artist at the Tate laid 120 house bricks on the floor, to form the shape of a flat brick?

Well; the next day in the Evening Standard was a cartoon by Jak. There was an image of a brick wall, similar to the prized sculpture, but vertical & not horizontal. One man is saying to another, "No it's a fake"

Are they sure it's a man's backside? There's no dangly bits showing between the legs.
