Actually, some of the older members of our reenactment group worked on First Knight with the hamster-crammer and they were told by a short, red-faced director to never breath word about hamsters on set, or they'd be sacked. In adition to our group, there were about 100 squaddies, so you can imagine what happened.
First, just after the warning someone told the above joke, but they couldn't find who said it. Then, someone was running around with a piece of fur hanging out of their trousers shouting 'I'm Richard Gere!' (and this one was caught and sacked) and finally, a very small director's chair turned up next to Gere's with 'Hammy' written on the back.
They weren't very chuffed...
On the subject of gifs, here's my entry for b3ta's Elvis gif....

| | Re: Giffing Good | Quote: | | | | | | | | | | Herring gulls - thieving b****rds. In Glasgow they had so many of them they had to get rid of some, but being wild birds and not a particular pest of crops, they're protected against shooting. However, the local council found if you dip the eggs in paraffin, then they spend all season sitting on dead eggs and no more of the buggers once they've gone.
Saying that, they pose nicely for photos... http://www.tonykeenebirds.co.uk/bbirds/herringgull.html |
