'Most unfortunate names'

Quote:
My name was Susan Frame. I am a lawyer. I met and married Robert who is a banker. His surname is Mee. Now we are Sue Mee, a lawyer, and Rob Mee, a banker - ironic? I have taken no end of stick for this, believe me.
Susan Mee, Doncaster

What were the parents thinking?

Anyone in EF with similar situations?

Re: 'Most unfortunate names'

My wife once delivered a baby boy to a Mr. and Mrs. Lion.
They called him Rory...

To clarify, she's a midwife, not a stork

I read about someone whose name was William Ankers.

With his initials, it would read W Ankers

Re: 'Most unfortunate names'

No but i find this great and quite cute, it could be worst: i don t know for English last names, but in France unfortunately some insults are last names, so you can have a Mlle Salope(Miss Bitch), M connard(Mr *******) and believe me it must be terrible...ah yes in my school there was a Pierre Taillé: cut stone

My friend swore blind that she was at school with a Russell Sprout.

And in my old American company there was a guy called Randy Wonderlick.

Re: 'Most unfortunate names'

My doctor in Australia (who was so great) was called Brian Hawney.
Dr B. Hawney
...and someone (her mum was a nurse who knew the doctor so she thinks she knows their family but I never know if she told the truth) said his wife's name was Diane, but everyone called her Di
Di Hawney

When it written it doesnt look that bad, but nobody misses it when you say "Oh I see Dr Hawney"..

Does Julie Valentine mean something that I dont know? Or is it just the word Valentine..
There is a Katie Valentine on the Gold Coast (Australian one.. not any other one) and she definitely loves her name. My sister once had a go at her for something.. treating someone badly or something.. and the chick was like "Do you know who the f*** I am? Im Katie Valentine. What the f***". She thinks shes famous (I guess she was famous on myspace back in the day)
I think I like the last name Valentine if that crazy girl hadnt ruined it.
