Where to buy men's underwear, UK or CH? [Another taking the p!ss thread]

After seeing so many tips on cross border shopping:
Where to buy a PC. UK or Switzerland?
Where to buy a TV - Switzerland or UK (for use in UK)

I am wondering how much I could save on a shopping trip... are there quality differences to be expected? Any places in London or Zurich recommended or to be avoided? Please help!

I posted mine because I've never lived in the UK before, and my husband (who is Swiss and currently living in the UK) isn't the greatest comparison shopper and is clueless when I ask him about things like this.

I really hope this does not start another spate of "humorous" copycat threads.

Frankly, here is your answer. Whenever somebody asks things that can be answered within seconds, he is normally told here so by a mod.

Using google and "price comparison UK" in the one tab and toppreise.ch in the other would solve your question faster than writing it here. But I guess from the way you changed my thread that critisizing you is not ok here... or at least not "humorous".

Edit: I just recognized that you are from the US. Sorry, I will not expect humor anymore.

I was not asking for questions that could be answered simply with a google search. How many people are moving from Switzerland to the UK and are looking to buy a tv in one of the two countries? Hmmm....well, if there are any of these people, my guess is they'd be right here on EF. So lmfgtfy is really not applicable.

I was looking for personal experiences that perhaps would not be evident by comparing price for price. Perhaps using a Swiss tv in the UK is a true pain in the ass. I wouldn't know that unless I asked, as I'm not all that familiar with how it works in the UK. I've only recently just figured out this whole freeview thing. What may be stupid logic to you, as a european, isn't obvious to me.

Criticize me all you'd like. I've got a tough skin. But we've had a ton of these taking the p!ss duplicate posts over the past few weeks and quite frankly, they are tiresome.

As for humor, you're German - wouldn't expect any from you, either.
