French course at Wall Street Institute Lausanne

Hello forum!

Does anyone have experience with the Swiss French School (division of Wall Street Institute) in Lausanne? The school primarily teaches English, but has a French course that is a combination of self-study and spoken lessons with an instructor.

It seems like a decent method, but I haven't found any reviews or accounts from actual students, and it is a bit expensive. If anyone here has (or has heard) feedback about the program, I'd really appreciate it!

I was at one of their workshops this morning at the Vaud Chamber Of Commerce seem professional...it was an overview on how one learns and the benefit of going to their school as apposed to classroom learning...very interesting.

They went bankrupt across a lot of Eastern Switzerland with their English schools, leaving students out of pocket and employees several months out of pocket.

Their method is very good and the teachers themselves dedicated, but I've heard some nasty management stories. Do look into how they are structured, as I understand their principle country - Spain - had a lot of financial scandals a few years ago.

Re: French course at Wall Street Institute Lausanne

I second that, they are crafty: the schools in each city were separate companies, he just immediately closed the companies that were not making a profit.

Maybe a reasonable action for him, but many employees had to sue him to get their wages paid, while the other cities were making enough money. Why couldn't he give formal notice and pay his employees?

So I would only pay him on a daily basis, in case the school went bankrupt before the next lesson.
