However interestingly, dating someone who cannot speak your language at all but has fantastic breasts is, by and large, a very sensible thing to do.
That's called incentives, that's what you need, Bernie, incentives...

yep, makes a nice pair, one doesn't speak the language and the other goes simply, speechless. that's really cute.

I think that 'a nice pair' was the incentive suggested.

My girlfriend doesn't speak any English, just Italian and a bit of French, and a couple words of German (despite having a Swiss-German father).

Oh, and she's 34D.

Alas, he's died many years before we met. And he rarely spoke it.

Technically, I'm Swiss-German, as is she, in fact our heimatorts are only 15 km apart (but in two different cantons, SG and ZH, and her ancestral home is in TG).

My first thought was, if you don't 'have' to use the language in everyday life, go for a trip, even a short one, to the country or area of the language that you are learning and try out the bit you already have
Nah! That doesn't work, not even when living here. I have found that even a discreet "danke" that hopefully is too short of an atterance to show I am a foreigner, at a kiosk, invariably gets me an English response of "You're welcome."

Or date a girl who speaks the required language & buy her fantastic breasts.

Re: Demotivation : what to do

I find curious the link you make between language and breasts.

Is it the place girls store their knowledge about languages ?

There is a saying that men keep their brains in their trousers, so it could be true.

about "the link you make between language and breasts"

Actually it was a link between language and fantastic breasts.

It may help you to understand if you substitute any English noun for "language"

Re: Demotivation : what to do

In fact, Bertrand, if you want a bit of English homework this week, see how many english words you can come with for "breasts". I believe there are more than 500. If you visit a football match in Englang next time your over, this will get you a long way into integrating with the local male population.

I'll start you off: funbags.

Re: Demotivation : what to do

Actually DB not in French. It is the word for the birds, but not 'baps'.
Mind you, we have had many tits with a black head in our garden recently, and I was not sure what they were called and ... Googled them.

nichons

btw not 'tagines'
