| | Demotivation : what to do
Is there anything you can do when you're totally demotivated to continue to learn a foreign language ?
Thanks.

I am sorry but I won't go out with a guy that I don't find attractive just for the sake to make him feels good!

And beside, what is pretty for you, may be not pretty for me... It is a matter of taste and it is pretty individual...

How about us getting back on topic. Has anyone been in this situation? What did you do?
My first thought was, if you don't 'have' to use the language in everyday life, go for a trip, even a short one, to the country or area of the language that you are learning and try out the bit you already have. Sometimes it is depressing, but sometimes, when you understand just few words, you are very motivated to have another shot.
Sometimes taking a short break isn't a bad thing. You don't forget all you have learned by any means, and listening to an early lesson, or reading one of the first chapters again, can be quite fun.
