German lessons for complete beginners: Zurich

Hi all,

I have joined a German school in Zurich with lessons starting next Thursday 17th May. I have absolutely no previous knowledge or understanding of the German language, nor have I ever learnt another language before, so I am the definition of a "complete beginner"!!

The school I am joining runs classes with a maximum of 2-3 students, and can provide some English support to help in the early days (many schools commence completely in German, no English spoken at all - I`m sure this is beneficial for many, but for me this is just frightening!)

At the moment I am the only student in the class, so there is availability for 1-2 more people to join. I`m keen for others to join, because then the lesson is extended from 60 minutes to 90 minutes (for the same price) - also I would love to meet some new people and share in this BIG challenge ahead!

If you are interested please send me a PM and I can tell you the details about the school, costs, times etc..

Thanks
Ashlee

Being a forum, wouldn't it be better to add the location and school name into your post, for the benefit of others ?

I too would be interested in more details (cost, location, time). This is something I'm definitely interested in doing seeing that I've just moved here and don't know any German.

I'm doing my German course (B1) at Ecap. It's an evening class. I personally find it good. www.ecap.ch
