Hi All,

I have a basic knowledge of French since I studied it for 4 years when I was in college. I can read and write but the confidence to speak and that too fluently is not close to 'there' yet.
I would like to take French classes from a private teacher living in/close to Aubonne where we are.

I would have loved to take a class, but my job has me traveling quite a bit so I need the flexibility.

Any reccos??

Forget the lessons. You obviously know the language so just go out and speak it. Of course you will make mistakes and of course people will laugh at you (they do it to me everyday) but everyday you will get better and closer to fluency.

Just imagine the fun of being fluent is higher than the fear of making mistakes and you'll soon get there.

It is not easy but it is worth it.

Find locals to speak French. I'm sure some will be happy to help you.
