Re: Reccomend a site?

Have you tried the Rosetta Stone software?
I will not name the websites where you can get it for free... just be a little creative! (or send me a PM)

Re: Reccomend a site?

Not sure what level you are at already but I've been using the BBC languages site: http://www.bbc.co.uk/languages/french

It's free. Some of it is a bit cheesy but it's not bad.

Re: Reccomend a site?

I'm trying to learn French by myself too and I found the babbel.de website very helpful. I redeemed a coupon I bought on Groupon, so it didn't cost me that much, but even the regular prices are very reasonable. Worth a look!

P.S. Just a little warning, in case you go for a subscription: You will have to send them a cancellation email before your original subscription ends, otherwise it will be renewed automatically and your credit card will be charged for another subscription round. Check the FAQ

Re: Reccomend a site?

I recommend this site:

http://www.french-online.de/grammar/...ourse_6_10.htm

It explains the grammar fairly well, and in an orderly fashion, and they have sound clips that you can play to hear the pronunciation, etc. It might be worthwhile to look for a language tandem partner in your town too. Speaking with native speakers will make a big difference!

Good luck!

Yes, I had learned all my languages with my girlfriends. Great way to learn. Specially is there is lots of drama and you need to learn quick to defend yourself. (ou l'amour )

Re: Reccomend a site?

try this one:

http://www.lepointdufle.net/p/apprendre-le-francais.htm

and this one seems to be useful also:

http://www.prononcer.net/progression

(there are the exercises [with mp3's] of the first one)

just explore them, but there are several others
(found by googling with this: "apprendre le franšais en ligne").
