If anyone is interested Volkshochschule (near the university) is opening a new intensive language course in German for beginners (A0-A1). I signed up but they need a few more people to sign up in order to open the group. Friends recommended this school to me and I chose it for their long course hours, small class size and great price.

It's 4 times a week in the mornings from 8:30- 11:15
the dates are 24.10-16.12 and is priced at 1050 chf.

Sorry I cannot join, but just wanted to say that I have attended german courses at the Volkshochschule for the last 5 years. With only one exception (and I'm prepared to admit that was a simple personality clash!) all the teachers have been outstanding. I am now studying for my German C1 Goethe Institute exam, having come to CH without ever having learnt a word of German.

The courses are also very reasonably priced and I have got to meet a great mix of people, some of whom are now firm friends.

Would warmly recommend this school.
