Message of condolence in Italian

I need to write a message of condolence in Italian, and would be grateful to any Italian-speaking EFers who would be willing to read it over for me. There will probably be quite a few mistakes... but it is short.
Thanks!

Re: Message of condolence in Italian

I would like to send a Big thank you to antongiu for translating this condolence message, and to MartaBenv for additional suggestions. It's always a delicate task to write these notes, and even more so when it's not in a language you fully master.

The recipient was very touched - we received a note back from her and that's down to the generosity of these lovely, thoughtful fellow EF-ers.

Tante grazie, antongiu e MartaBenv!
