What is the right expression for

"a complete set of" something like furniture etc?

Depending on the context and presuming you mean German: Komplett, Set & Arrangement spring to mind.

As in " a fully furnished frat":
In this case it's "eine vollständige Wohnungsreinrichtung" or "eine vollständig eingerichtete Wohnung"

Complete set of furniture = eine komplette Möbelgruppe
Complete set of crockery = ein kompletter Kaffee-Service
Complete set of grill stuff = ein kompletter Grill-Set
a fully furnished flat = eine möblierte Wohnung
just a few examples
