German / English electronic dictionary / translator

Does anyone own a german / electronic dictionary device? If so, do you recommend it? I am looking for a small translator I can take with me everywhere and look up words and verbs (as opposed to carrying around a large paper dictionary). I've seen people with these (especially those from Japan), but haven't found a good one for english<->german.

Features it must have:
- German / English Dictionary (I give a word in english, it tells me german equivalent, just like a LARGE (non tourist) paper dictionary).
- Reverse dictionary (german -> english)
- Clearly indicates the gender of all nouns

Would be nice:
- Verb conjugation
- Same features for Korean (I am trying to learn that too)

What I don't want (because I am skeptical these features work or would be of any value):
- Translation
- Audio features

Thanks for any help!

You could get a bilingual girlfriend.. she would most likely carry herself, unless of course you bring her to the Talacker bar.... might end up being more expensive, but you wouldn't have to worry about misplacing her...

I have one of these, produced by Franklin. They are available on EBay if you cannot find them locally. I find it useful for general words but a little limited for some phrases. They are available in multiple languages so that you could translate between any variation of languages e.g. German/English, French/German, Italian/German etc. depending on a specific situation.

While the websites, leo and dict are pretty useful, they're not very portable.

Re: German / English electronic dictionary / translator

I bought one from Meissner Bücher, it basically has the vocabulary as the english/german pocket dictionary (Langenscheidt). It translates english to german or french and vice versa. For about 180chf it is well worth it.
