ASS as in "Athletik Sport Studio" Rombach

the website is www.ass-chiros.ch

... and I'm sure they knew exactly what some people would think and kept the logo all the same...

When I first came to Switzerland I was confused by the term "Reformhaus"

Back in blighty a "house of reform" is a very Victorian way of referring to a prison.

Lol, me too.

I spent a long time avoiding the "Tageshit" in restaurants -- although I appreciated the frank description.

On one of our hikes in the ZH/SG area, I came across this place and wondered who would eat at a Poo restaurant!

Ah, pan Bimbo!!

It appears that Grupo Bimbo is a Mexican baking company. They came up with the name in 1945 mixing the words bingo and Bambi.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grupo_Bimbo

Sorry, not funny. Amogles just piqued my curiosity.

Carry on
Did you just google bimbo? Hopefully not at work.

I think my google went funny.

I get a mixture of blonds with big boobs and slices of bread.

I know the ones I'd eat

So sorry but SCHMUCK in German is a nice and positive word and will not be dropped just for a few "Anglos" not realising the link between German, Yiddish and English. "Meshugge" is a very nice word out of Yiddish

What about AEGEAN AIRLINES ? Few people southeast of Dover can say it correctly. Try just to write it in German and you land up with something like Eydshiään I hope they revert earlier or later either to GREECE AIRLINES or better to OLYMPIC INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES
