Learning french for kids

I have a 4 years-old son and we have been living in Switzerland for a year now (in Valais). I'm looking for some sources to help my son learn french. He goes to créche 4 times a week for 3 hours since September 2015, but it's still hard for him to speak french and make friends. He gets really shy about his language and want to help him before school starts in August. He knows colors, names of animals, vechiculars etc. But it's hard for him to say phrases and sentances.
Any advice on popular french songs and rythms for a 4 years-old? Popular books and cartoons? So that he could play with those themes with other kids. Maybe you know other good sources like apps, games, websites, courses etc?
