German [learning] ... where next?

I need to step up my language learning, and I'm not sure how. Currently I'm using Duolingo mainly, but I need to move on.

Torn between;

An intensive group language course
- Possibly would be too much info to take in in a short space of time. Suffer from social anxiety so learning in a group sounds horrendous, would probably sit and say nothing... then maybe I would be forced to and it would be good for me. Switzerland or Germany?

A once a week group language course
- Maybe slow progress, but could do lots of home learning in-between and would hopefully give me a structure for home learning. Best option cost wise.

A once a week private lesson
- Expensive, but tailored to me.

Or continuing to learn alone somehow.
- Maybe get some GCSE & A-level guides, but would be lacking structure, correction and speaking opportunities. A distance learning A-level?

My only options for schools near to home are Migros (cheaper) and Academia (probably better) . My grammar is not the greatest, I'm worried that will hold me back in a language school environment.

Any thoughts from those that have learnt in any of the above situations? Help me decide!!!
