Re: Affordable French course in Lausanne

Yes, the pole sud course looks excellent. I actually tried to join the recent course but was put on the wait list. I did not realise this was for disadvantaged persons when I went in for the test to join the A2 course.

They put me on the wait list, but (understandably) prioritised people from less wealthy countries. It was an interesting experience because, as I said, I did not realise the context for the course and the test was almost like an interview to assess whether I should be able to enter the subsidised course. They asked me a lot if I was a tourist and what my partner does.

I think anyone can join the course, and I am unemployed, but it is intended for asylum seekers most of all.

For me it looked appealing for the level of interactivity in the learning process and the longer class times.

I found a private tutor a few years ago and I have find her to be extremely valuable and reliable. I have weekly one-to-one sessions with her. I do have to drive to hers though as she lives in Savigny. On occasions when I am unable to get to hers, due to weather conditions or travel, lessons are held by Skype.
Thanks for your comment. Where can I find the contact details of the French tutor from Savigny (near Lausanne)? I live quite closeby and am interested in private lessons. Merci
