I think I mentioned in another thread that I was registering with RAV just for the sake of getting job seeking advice, and not for payments.

So I registered and they sent me to a language centre where a group of us took a written and oral exam in German.

I got a B1 overall, and am wondering if this certificate would be recognized/looked well upon by a potential employer / HR person, and whether I should list it at all on my cv? I don't have any other language certificates in German yet as I am waiting until I think I am at B2 level minimum, so it's the only one I've got as such.

It means nothing. They put people through that course even if they have a recognised cert at a 'good' level.

It wasn't a course - just a one hour written and oral exam to test my level of German.
