Tandem in Bern. Your Hoch Deutsch for my English?

Hi All,

I have also posted in another tandem thread but a new thread might get more attention.

Im a recently returned Swiss abroad. 29 Years old, male. Was born here (swiss father, australian mother) but we moved when I was basically a baby. All schooling was in English speaking countries. Have relocated back to Switzerland with my swiss partner (he is from Tessin). Most recently I have lived in Melbourne Australia for 9 years.

I have family here, but they are all in Wallis. I see them once a month and interact with a mix of english and the little high german and swiss german I know. I would love to learn high german first and then I can crack down on the swiss german :-)

Im currently in a 1 month intensive german course but only at A2 level. If any german/swiss german speakers out there want to learn English from me then let me know!

Re: Tandem in Bern. Your Hoch Deutsch for my English?

Hello,
I'm a Swiss who just returned from a few months in the US (sad lovestory) and I'd like to continue speaking English. I live in Biel/Bienne, 32 years old, female.

I'm currently not working, so I could also meet during the day on weekdays. Could be fun!

Liebe Grüsse
Marlen

There is also a group in Bern called "language exchange bern". They meet once a month at propeller bar. Im heading there tonight for the first time to check them out. You can find them on facebook or just by google :-)
