| | Suggestion for Private German Teacher in Zurich?
Hello everyone,
I could use your advice to find an excellent German teacher in the Zurich area for private classes. I am fluent in Swiss German but need to work on my written German. It's a bit of a special case so I really want to find the right person.
Any suggestions?
Thanks so much.

Hi,
I am very satisfied with my German tutor and would definitely recommend her.
I know for sure that she also provides support for written German, so she can help you.
She works in Zurich and can also come to your place.
Please PM me if you are interested and I'll give you her details.
Ciao

Hello! I am seeking to refresh/learn German to improve my job prospects in Zurich as I aim to join my partner who relocated from London last year. Gmaus, Is your German teacher still teaching? Would you mind sharing contact details, please?

Hello, I would highly recommend my German teacher. She provides both group and individual lessons and I think she also travels to the student for the individual lesson. If you are still looking for someone, PM me and I'll share her details. Regards,

Hi,
Sorry for the late reply.
If you are still looking for a German teacher who is a real professional and a patient, friendly human being, I can recommend Fabienne Müller.
Since she has - finally - got her website up and running, I can share her details here, for the benefit of other EF members.
Fabienne helped me improve my knowledge of German from B2 to C1 level, by providing tailored lessons and keeping me interested in going further with learning.
She has just opened her office in Kilchberg, here is her website: www.diesprachkunst.ch
Enjoy learning, it can be fun!

I am updating this thread because my friend and previous German tutor Fabienne has moved her office from Kilchberg to Zürich and is also offering online courses, due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
She is so passionate about teaching, understanding and supportive: she can tailor her lessons to the needs of each student and is very dedicated. Whether you’re a beginner or a B2 level wishing to improve your vocabulary as I was, Fabienne can help you achieve your goal, using the appropriate teaching tool - and enjoying it too.
Over the past few years I have recommended Fabienne to a number of fellow EF members and they’ve been as satisfied with her professional, effective and friendly teaching as I have.
You can check her website for details and of course PM me if you have questions. http://www.diesprachkunst.ch/
Have fun learning!
Ciao

I seem to have the best German teacher, having had many, all of whom were excellent, mind. He has not only taught me the German grammar, but I have learned a great deal about the politics, current world affairs (he reads a lot more than I do), books, history, geography, pyramids, UFOS, atom bombs, spies...all in German, naturally and all at my level and correcting me on the go...
He teaches at a renowned language school and has taught for many years at a Zurich top gymansium, highly educated, extremelly likeable, funny and with highest doses of EQ..which is a huge added bonus
I will ask if I can make his contact details public here but in the meantime, I will gladly share if you PM me.
Best
