It is like learning 2 languages...

Been living in Switzerland 5 years now and I am still learning Hoch Deutsch. I like Swiss German much more than Hoch Deutsch and was talking Swiss German well in my 2-3rd year here. I learnt by only talking on the construction site every day in Swiss German. Need hoch Deutsch for reading and writing

Anybody experiencing the same?

Going to German lessons from February but is so expensive.

Yup, it's exactly like learning two languages. I think of as trying to learn English by watching Geordie Shore. I know the lessons are expensive, but can you imagine working on a site in the UK and being illiterate? You'd get by, but it would be make a difference being able to read and write the language. A good teacher will likely also point out the main differences between high German and Swiss German. Have faith in yourself, stick at it, and you'll be surprised how quickly it falls into place.

You can already integrate better than most people who have been here for 10 years then! The reading and writing part will be tough but also consider getting Skype lessons which are much cheaper.
