Goethe Exam B1

Hi,

I was going to take the B1 exam at the beginning of September, but I couldn't.
I was looking online in Swiss Exams website to see if I could still take it at the end of September. Unfortunately it's too late and everything is booked.

Does anyone know whether there is any other website listing all schools where I could take the exam without going to their course?

Have you seen this below link and further checked availability listed in various/preferred parts of Switzerland ?

Re: Goethe Exam B1

You don't have to do a Goethe exam for residence / citizenship applications in Switzerland. Telc exams are also okay, try searching for them. I got one of those at short notice (within two months) when I also left it late to book ...
I'm not sure if any exams would have space within the same month and, if they do, you're sure to pay a late registration fee.

I did mine through Language Masters, just on Bleicherweg in Zurich - not sure if they have other exam centres closer to you.

You can also take it at the Goethe Institut in Freiberg, Germany, which is fairly easy to get to on the train (the centre is right by the station). They run the exams there every month and you don‘t need to do their courses to do the exam. I can‘t remember exactly how long I had to wait for the certificate (less than a month), but the results were available online within a week.

Re: Goethe Exam B1

If you don't mind a trip on the train you can do the exam in Germany:
