Re: English-German or French or Swiss German Tandem exchange (Zurich)

Hi Asterisk,

I'm back to Switzerland. Could I meet you again for the tandem exchange 'German for English'? I've already learned a great deal, and I'm looking forward to meeting you again. It's great to find a professional German teacher who does a language exchange. I hope to hear from you soon.

Best regards,
Stardust

Hi everyone,

I'd like to teach German or French or Swiss German in exchange for English to native English-speaking people. We could meet in Zurich once or twice a week. Hope to hear from some interested people soon. I've been teaching German and French for seven years; I know what I'm talking about.
Cheers,
Asterisk

Re: English-German or French or Swiss German Tandem exchange (Zurich)

Hi,

I was quite busy at school, but I'm looking for a new tandem partner now since I have a bit more time. I'm a professional German and French teacher, and my level in English is advanced. I'd like to improve my converstional skills with a native English speaker. I could meet in Rapperswil or Zurich. So if you are interested in improving your High German, Swiss German or French, let me know.

Regards,
Asterisk

Hi Asterisk,

It was a pleasure to meet you. We had a lot of fun, and though I struggled with my speaking, I found it incredibly helpful to practise. I'm glad to be back from England. I love Switzerland so much. Are you still looking for native English-speaking people? I'd love to meet again. Let me know when you will be free, and thanks for posting this useful thread. I hope to hear from you soon.

Best,
Stardust

Hello Asterisk,

I'm from the UK and would love to improve my German (very basic - from school 15yrs ago!). Planning to move to Zurich in January but will be coming over a few times before to sort stuff out - including next weekend of the 20th. Please let me know if you want to meet.
All the best,
Harry

Hello Harry,

Welcome to Switzerland. I'd like to meet for a language exchange since my former tandem partner had to go back to the UK. I'm a professional German and French teacher, and I'd like to improve my conversational skills. Which part of the UK are you from, and when could you be available? Let me know.

Regards,
Asterisk

I'm interested in the English/German exchange. I am an English teacher, I need help with conversation. I am taking classes and a beginner and I am having trouble with speaking, due to only hearing Swiss German and speaking English with people. What is your availability?

Re: English-German or French or Swiss German Tandem exchange (Zurich)

I'm interested in this.

I need to re-awaken my German (did a degree in French and German, just spent the last 13 years in France) and also learn some Swiss German. I'm considering in enroling in some classes (Stadt Zuerich keeps a good list), but this sounds fun

I'm British BTW.
