English to French translation with text to speech?

Hi all,

I have an assignment from the company French instructor to learn the conjugation and the pronunciation of eight regular verbs. Google translate is great for learning the conjugations but their text-to-speech engine does not handle French.

Do you know of a site that might be able to help with this?

First a question: How does Google Translate act as a conjugator?

For French conjugating I use WordReference.com. Unfortunately there is no pronunciation.

I set it for English to French, then type in the English equivalents.

For example: I work, you work, he works, they work.

It spits out the French equivalents. (Je travaille, vous travaillez, etc)

This one is top of top:
http://www.leconjugueur.com/

it recognizes verbs forms if you have no idea what the infinitive is. As long as the form exists, it will know what it is.

Please try the WordReference link in my previous post. Conjugating travailler gives you the full table.

And also note that Google Translate gives only one of the two translations of "you work", which can can translate into either tu travailles or vous travaillez (singular vs plural).

Of course, that does not solve your real problem: pronunciation.

You might want to have a look at this site:

http://french.about.com/od/verb_conj...a/pleuvoir.htm

Enter the verb in the search box and you will get all the details. This example is for the verb pleuvoir.
