live mocha "active german"

I checked to see if anyone posted about this already and I didn't seem to come across any posts, so hopefully this is a new topic.

I am feeling a little stuck with my German. I am doing some books at home, etc. But was feeling like it might even be good to try a course, checked out Migros Klubschule but it seemed like they are all booked out and I want to start improving now. I saw some references to LIVE MOCHA being free, but now they have this new program where you have to pay almost $20/month and I was curious if anyone has tried and if it is worth it. I am mostly looking to grow my vocabulary and tighten up my grammar, right now I'm about a B1 level but need to really improve quickly.

So -- thoughts: LIVE MOCHA 'Active German'? What are people's experience with that LIVE MOCHA site.

Re: live mocha "active german"

I have used Livemocha in the past (for Japanese) and was very pleased. Since I have only used the free version, I cannot comment on the paid courses though.

Here is a helpful review of some major German schools in Zürich:

Viel Glück!

Re: live mocha "active german"

I did a search in here and found this mention of it in a Thread about a different course.
