Hello,
First of all, i want to say i am not a frequent poster, i mostly only read this forum, and find it very useful
So, back to business:
I am 24 y.o., working in IT in CERN, originally from Moscow.
As my opportunities are limited at my current job, i was searching for another one, considering only Switzerland for the moment.
At that time first thoughts about leaving the country started to lurk in my mind
Well, after i've evaluated my situation i got following conclusions:
- I am sure i don't want to stay in Switzerland.
There are "+" and "-" for every place, but i've figured out Switzerland is just not for me. - I am not sure where to go now. So far i have thought of:
- Going back to Moscow
- Canada, Australia, US, England... something else?
Main concerns are:
- How easy it is to obtain a working permit for a skilled IT guy
- English or Russian is the main language
- Career opportunities
- Place is bigger than Geneva
- Place is good for a single young guy who likes to go out

So far for me Moscow seems to be the best solution, because it fits all my criterias, plus has few nice extras like family around.
But, i could well miss something cool. Thinking of Sydney mostly.
I would appreciate your opinions, especially if you have valuable experience with working abroad, and especially in IT!
Thanks in advance
