Customs when moving out from CH to EU ( Scandinavia )?

We are thinking of moving our stuff ourselves with a rented van (to Scandinavia) and I'm wondering whether we need any customs forms for when we enter the EU (into Germany, to cross through). We'll have the right paperwork for importing our personal belongings into our destination country. I have emailed German Zoll to ask (waiting for a reply) but it would great to hear from anyone else who did this. Thanks!

I got a reply from German customs to say that we should do a "transit procedure" which involves declaring the goods and paying duty when we enter Germany, and then claiming back the duty when we enter Sweden.

Actually in the event the customs people weren't interested in our little vanload. (We even stopped and asked.) So no paperwork, no procedures, no duty, just a looong drive.
The End.

Germany and Sweden belong to a customs union (EU), how would you be able to claim back duty from Germany if your final destination is Sweden?
