Leaving Switzerland in 1-2 weeks time

I have been reading through all the posts for the last couple of hours! It is getting rather too frustrating...!

My situation is rather simpler:
I have the B Permit for almost 3 months. Yet I found something better back home (Greece for that matter and not a joke)!

I probably be leaving next week or the week after that at the latest...!

I understand that I need to :
1. Go to the Gemeinde and deregister
2. The the deregisration paper and pay 30CHF for it
3. Cancel my Health Insurance and also provide them the aforementioned paper!

I live in a small hotel so I basically need a letter from the hotel stating when I leave!

Taxes etc are payed by the employer so I dont have any outstanding fees, right?

Anything else?

De-registration is a 20 minute job and free ( normally ).

Thank you jrspet!

I have been through those posts already. The only thing I was worried about was the time needed to inform the Gemeinde.

I am basically waiting for my starting date, before I handle all that. Since I don't live in a flat etc, there are no other contracts for me like tel, internet etc.

Just the health insurance. I don't want to be surprised by any additional fees after I leave!

I'd be carefully looking at your current work contract and "benefits" or "relocation fees" you'll have to refund for leaving so early...

I just deregistered and they charged 20 chf for the official letter. It only took a few minutes though, and you can do it in advance.
You'll need that letter to cancel your health insurance/move your pension

I have read somewhere that you can claim money back from the Catholic Church tax, but I can't seem to find out how. Any info?
