So, coincidentally, while waiting at the gate of a major airport on the East Coast, I accidentally bumped into a fellow forum member who was also catching the same flight. Small world it is sometimes.
Ohnos, they've let him out. Let's hope the Grenzwache are on their toes.

Excuse me ma'am, your backpack is open.

Oh, darn!

I turn around, and lo and behold, the marvelous LiB is there!!! In my city. At my airport. Boarding the same flight.

Giant hug!!!

So glad to see you bro - you look great and so happy! The US must be doing something right. I had to RUN to catch my connection when we landed, since we were so late. But... we have a Ben's Chili Bowl dinner to go to at some point, so I fully expect your visit to the Capital sometimes soon! Happy New Year, enjoy the stores closed on Sunday, the cow bells, the church bells, and the smokers (sorry, couldn't resist!). Evil smile.

Nah, enjoy the time with your loved ones and your beautiful country!

P.S. Small world indeed.

..well so be it but at least there are free parking spots.

Have you actually been to Kentucky?
Kentucky is a place?
I always thought it was the name of a chicken.

Sweetheart, you're in Switzerland...the only thing which may raise your heart rate is a sale at Coop and Roger Federer.
Yeah. Plenty of things happening in the USA to raise the heart beat...

I am going to miss your classic comments. How you managed to paint yourself into a corner was impressive.

You used to be a member here? Name sorta rings a bell.....
Absoluetly, I frequently posted highly intellectual material. Say, have you been banned in 2015 already?

Thank you! It was definitely a pleasant surprise...I'm also glad that they managed to fix the "little" issue which prevented us from flying in the first place. Where is MacGiver when you need him...

Kentucky is God's country, the place of the unbriddled spirit...or illegal spirits or whatever you want to call it. It is miles away from the Saturday morning Migros cacophony, crappy kebab joints and pretty much the complete opposite from this here Alpine nation and I love it there.
